From Sound, Lighting, and Video, this show had a lot of attractions for all to grasp.
Nearly everyone stuck around for most of the day, talking to suppliers, trying out gear and attending seminars.

Pierre Louis Landry (shown) & Richard Baker brought the Leitch Neosuite multiviewer & X75 Frame sync, 360 systems server, DVCPRO laptop editor, LG Plasmas, Marshall screens, Trilogy IP intercom system and lots of other cool video gear

Panasonic was on hand to show off the new P2 camcorders and recording gear as well as provided large screen projectors for the seminar rooms.

You couldn't miss Varilight with lights and visual effects everywhere

Besides being a Tour Tech Show, staff were to be found everywhere checking out the new gear and learning from our industry experts.

Note: Not all exhibits were on the floor

You could visit both trucks and ask all the questions you wanted.
Both trucks had cameras set up, showing live feeds from the exhibit floor.

Over 150 people registered for the various educational audio, lighting and video seminars located upstairs

The most popular seminar each year is the ''Industry Trends & Emerging Technologies'' which Pierre Louis Landry, Montreal Chapter President of the SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers) and Atlantic region sales rep. had to do a repeat session on were we are going, new applications and new products. He will be back again with a solutions based presentation covering emerging technologies and providing today's answers from Incospec Communications offerings. Not to be missed.

Some seminars were based on end-users perspectives on technology and applications.

Daniel Caissie shared his experience working with television production mobiles and doing live events, such as the Cirque du Soleil, Festival de Jazz de Montréal, Canadian Antique Road Show, Harry Connick Jr DVD, Stanley cup championships and many others. After a 3 years absence, he's back to share his experience on the challenges behind the shooting of the Blu-ray concert for Celine Dion in Las Vegas.

Tape, Tape, Tape, well not really, Maxell also had a seminar on Holographic recordings and the trends with HD-DVD and Blu-ray HD DVDs.

All Access Show was the premiere showing of Canon's new HDV camcorder

Paul Duguay from Networx, managed to be the first to bring it to Halifax.
